Privacy

We take privacy very seriously.

• We will not provide your appraisal or any information you provide to use regarding an appraisal to any third party without your explicit permission, except where required by law.  Appraisers are required to surrender appraisal reports when there is a court order to do so and when the Office of Real Estate Appraisers requests it.  We have never had a request from either entity to do so and will notify you if there is one and we are permitted to do so.
• We maintain appraisal reports and all information collected for our appraisals for 5 years, which is also required by law.
• We have a ZERO SPAM policy and we will not release your contact information to any third party - ever.
• We may use appraisal reports as samples to provide to other potential clients.  In doing so, all personally identifiable information will be removed from the appraisal report.
• We may use photographs taken for your appraisal in marketing material but will not include any photographs that provide any personally identifiable information.
• Although we have never done so, we may send you periodic marketing material about our company.  The nature of our business is that most clients only order once and we realize that marketing to them isn't effective but if we feel we have an offering you may be interested in, we would like to tell you about it.
• Your appraisal order may be maintained online on an platform with industry-standard security protections in place.  Your appraisal may also be stored online, also with industry-standard security protections, for backup purposes in the event of a catastrophic failure at our office.
